Larah Metelková

Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Larah Metelková and I specialize in family, lifestyle, milestone and newborn photos. I had been taking pictures of my kids and family for several years before suddenly realizing that this is what I want to do! I love an adventure and trying things out of the box so here we are!

Way back in high school my passion for photography began with film and developing film myself (in a darkroom-ancient!) I started with an old hand-me-down Nikon film camera and ended up lugging it around Europe and taking photos of family and friends until finally deciding to switch to digital.

Chasing light and capturing emotion and that childhood spark is what pushes me to be better and learn new styles and techniques along the way. I truly believe there is no cap on the human capacity for knowledge and growth.

I am located in Musquodoboit Harbour Nova Scotia and am available for travel to other surrounding towns. Please message me with any booking inquiries or questions you have!
